Working at Heights & Harness Safety

• Legislation & Regulations: Overview of laws and standards, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, Part 4.
• Fall Restraint and Fall Arrest: Understanding the systems and their applications.
• Hazard Management: Identifying and managing risks associated with working at heights.
• Inspection of Equipment: Detailed procedures for inspecting harnesses, lanyards, and anchorage points.
• Selection and Fitting of Harnesses: Best practices for selecting and correctly fitting fall protection equipment.
• Fall Dynamics: Understanding the forces involved in falls and how to mitigate them.
• Using Fall Arrest with MEWPs: Special considerations for working with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms.
• Equipment Logging & Maintenance: Proper documentation and maintenance of working at height equipment.
