City and Guilds Fire Warden Instructor training course is a two-days leading training course for instructors who want to include fire safety training to their skillset. This course enables participants the knowledge & skills vantage to successfully train others in Fire Safety & Fire Warden / Fire Marshal in the workplace.  Successful candidates will be provided with all materials required to deliver Fire Warden Courses.

Participants will meet the training requirements of the Fire Services Act, 1981 & the Regulations of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005.

This course can be delivered at the Holland Safety premises in Rathcoole, Dublin or on-site, anywhere in Ireland and the course is tailored to ensure the content is relevant for the participants and their work environment.

Who Should Attend

Any individual who wants to develop their current set of skills and knowledge of fire safety awareness in order to undertake fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risks.

Also, candidates who are freelance trainers & instructors, wishing to add additional courses to their skillset.

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify possible fire hazards in the workplace
  • Assist in the fire risk assessment process
  • Understand how fires can occur and how fire and smoke can spread
  • Identify the correct type of fire equipment/ fire extinguisher for the type of fire
  • Identify if your premises are equipped with appropriate fire alarms, detectors, emergency lights and firefighting equipment
  • Understand the maintenance requirements for fire equipment
  • Advise staff on measures to reduce the risk of fire occurring, and on action to take in the event of an emergency.

On successful completion, participants will receive a City and Guilds Assured Fire Warden Instructor Certificate – Valid for 5 years.
