PHECC Cardiac First Response (CFR)

Our Cardiac First Response Training, is the key to providing you with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively and quickly in the event of a cardiac emergency. We take pride in being the professionals in delivering these life-saving courses at Holland Safety. With our half-day training, you'll be confident and competent in dealing with cardiac crises like cardiac arrest and heart attacks.

On completion of this training, you will have the knowledge and skills to properly respond to life-threatening cardiac emergencies by: 

• Recognise the signs of cardiac distress quickly and precisely.
• Perform successful CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on adults and children.
• Use  automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to restore normal cardiac rhythms.
• Respond to choking episodes calmly and efficiently.
• During an emergency, work seamlessly with other CFR community members and course participants.
• Report and record your actions and interventions properly to ensure a smooth transition to Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
• Acquire certification that proves your competency as a Cardiac First Responder (CFR).

MCQ Exam + Skills Assessment 

On successful completion of this course, participants will receive a PHECC Cardiac First Response Community Certificate valid for two years from the date of completion of the course.
