Upon successful completion, participants will be able to:

• Assess and respond to sudden workplace injuries or illnesses
• Effectively call and coordinate with emergency medical services
• Perform emergency interventions, including CPR and AED usage
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and incidents
• Exhibit a caring and professional approach as a certified First Aid Responder

Remediation Support

If learners encounter difficulties meeting the PHECC FAR standard, we offer structured one-on-one support to ensure all participants achieve certification.

Recertification

To maintain certification, participants must complete a two-day FAR refresher course every two years. [Book your refresher course here.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) certificate, valid for two years. Certification is awarded following:

• Skills assessment to PHECC standards
