Safety Documentation
At Holland Consulting, we place major emphasis on offering personalised service to our customers by providing tailored safety documentation.
All documentation is legislative and industry compliant, task-specific, comprehensive, high quality, professionally presented and user friendly.
Method Statements:
Method statements are documents that describe how to do a task safely. They are site and task-specific and are essentially a set of instructions or a plan for the work. They should contain all the information required to communicate how to carry out the task safely.
Method Statements are often used in conjunction with risk assessments but are not the same document. Whereas risk assessments outline the hazards and risks associated with a task and the measures put in place to mitigate these risks, a method statement provides additional information about how to carry out the task, the steps involved, and the precaution required for each step.
Our team of experienced consultants are on hand to provide you with the expertise to assist you in generating method statements that are specific to the project at hand and offer a practical, logical and safe system of work.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Standard operating procedures (SOP) are step-by-step guidance designed to assist employees in carrying out routine operations. They are designed to achieve consistency of performance, efficiency and quality of output.
Our consultancy team have the skills and experience to analyse your process and break it down, step-by-step, to improve both quality and safety performance.
Policy Documentation:
Policy documents are statements of intent by an organisation and set out the general approach to health & safety within the organisation. Your policies should contain as a minimum your commitment to managing health & safety effectively, who is responsible for specific actions and details of what will be put in place to achieve the aims outlined.
Our team of experienced consultants work with you to develop safety policies that reflect your organisation’s approach and commitment to the health & safety of your staff, customers and the wider public.
